The MAHSA Project & Partners are pleased to announce a new article in the Journal of Field Archaeology, exploring the Survey of India’s often incidental historic recording of archaeological sites and our ongoing work to document this heritage.
The SoI’s systematic documentation has enabled us to record sites, known and unknown, to deepen our understanding of South Asian heritage. We can now also acknowledge the invaluable archaeological contributions made by subaltern members of the SoI teams.
