The Mapping Archaeological Heritage in South Asia (MAHSA) and Mapping Africa’s Endangered Archaeological Sites and Monuments (MAEASaM) projects hosted an online workshop on key principles and uses of databases to record and disseminate archaeological information.
As well as providing an overview of different types of databases, the workshop introduced the Arches software platform in use by the MAHSA and MAEASaM projects to record archaeological data.
