The inaugural meeting focused on sustainable urban planning. Junaid Abdul Jabbar, Research Assistant/Database Coordinator and Muhammad Qadeer ul Hussnain, PhD researcher at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, National University of Science and Technology gave a presentation titled: Application of planning support systems for sustainable urban planning in rapidly urbanizing regions: lessons from Pakistan.
